This is the score to Hallmark's epic retelling of the classic tale of Jason And The Argonauts. This miniseries was a big hit for NBC and was nominated for 2 primetime Emmys. At a cost of 30 Million dollars, the film featured a talented cast - Frank Langella, Dennis Hopper, Angus McFadyen, Ciaran Hinds, Derek Jacobi and Natasha Henstridge. This beautiful score is available for the first time ever on CD. The album had been compiled by the composer himself for the airing of the show. Sadly, or luckily for us, plans for a CD release weren't pursued. It starts with the magnificent "Jason's Theme", which meanders through the album and closes it on the last track. There is a wonderful "Love Theme", as well as a bold statement for "The Golden Fleece", to which you can listen in its entirety right here. A breathtaking score. Simon Boswell is a very respected composer. He has written music for many films, including Lord Of Illusions (also on Perseverance Records), Shallow Grave, Hardware, Dust Devil and Hackers. The score for Jason And The Argonauts is what many would call an epic, breathtaking score. A must have for any film score fan or those who like beautiful orchestral music. Track Listing:
