Knight Rider theme composed by Stu Phillips and Glen A. Larson
We are proud to announce the fourth volume of Don Peake's scores from the the classic 1980s television series, Knight Rider. Knight Rider, as the voice over will tell you before each and every episode, was "a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who did not exist". For four seasons we saw crime fighter Michael Knight and his fully loaded car, K.I.T.T., fight bad guys. The show made David Hasselhoff a worldwide star while Knight Rider lives on in reruns and on DVD.
This is something very special: It is not a CD, but rather a credit card-sized USB flash drive that contains wav and mp3 files of the music Don composed for the episodes "A Nice Indecent Little Town" and "Killer KITT". The flash drive itself has a capacity of 8 GB, but only less than 1 GB is used up by the music files, so you have over 7GB to store your own music or create a Best of Knight Rder compilation. You can do whatever you want with the extra space. Only 250 of each volume were made, and a lot of them were sold at the Knights of Atlanta fan con when Don introduced these new gadgets.
This is not a Perseverance Records release, but a CD that Don Peake produced himself and that we are distributing for him thru an extraordinary deal with Universal. Thanks to Philip Cohen for this!

Enjoying "A Nice Indecent Little Town" (Season 1 Episode 17: February 18, 1983) and "Killer KITT" (Season 4 Episode 13: January 10, 1986). I've been waiting for this for years.
I love the flash drive. MP3 and WAV format provide compressed and raw quality.

I don't know if I am the only one concerned, but the flash card I received is just... a plastic card with no music and no storage space on it! I explain: When I plug it on a Mac, it's just no seen. When I plug it on a PC with Win XP or Win 7, it is seen as a card reader. But I can't access to the data the card may contain. And on my Hi-Fi equipment: it is reading the card and then says there is an error and no music to play.
Well, I just spend $25 (+ shipping rate) for... a plastic card with no music at all :( And I even can't use it to store other personal data. Grrr, I spent my money for nothing :( Why didn't they do a CD instead of a flash card? At last, CDs are working...

Don Peake did a great job with the soundtracks for the Knight Rider series. Can't wait to get Vol. 5 and 6!
